As part of the Playstation's "Long Live Play" campaign launch, the Hall of Play Facebook application plays a key role in the strategy to open source the brand, and create engaging and sharable experiences. The app lives on the PlayStation Facebook page, contributing the kind of unique content their fan base is hungry for.
Inside The Hall of Play users get to spend a little one-on-one time with Kevin Butler, with access to his excuse generator, and a direct pipeline to watch as KB salutes a few select gamers. But the best part of the experience is that each user's name and photo are seamlessly integrated into the broadcast spot and then posted to their Facebook wall to share with the world.
As the Long Live Play campaign evolves, so will the Hall of Play. With new initiatives around hardware and software, The Hall will serve as a central location that can be updated with new experiences, content, and ways to engage with fans and their social circle.
