We love the web, and you should too! We do everything from small Flash sites, to huge, fully scaleable sites complete with entirely developed back ends and content management systems. We also create all other forms of web media, games, viral and social networking sites.

ABOUT THE JOB
We work as small teams and you'll have a very involved role in producing sites, backends, and online apps/tools. You'll be be writing your own SQL queries, coding JS for AJAX applications, hand coding HTML, turning designs into working CSS, and making it all handshake with PHP. Experience with the Zend Framework is a big plus as we do most of our development using it. Jquery is our JS package of choice and we keep everything up to date with Subversion. You should have some experience with deploying sites to LAMP servers (editing php.ini, httpd.conf, etc). You should be able to write and optimize your own SQL. We want people who are excited about working with a team, sharing code, arguing about naming conventions, and thinking long term when coding. We like people who are proud of their code and see that the aesthetics of the project naturally flow with the code. We'd like you to have 2-3+ years industry experience, but maybe you're a rockstar already.

BKWLD is looking for a flash developer. To us, this means a command of AS3, PV3D experience, with a dash of After Effects and 3D. You must have a head for design, even if you're strength doesn't lie in Photoshop; it's important that you can tell when a build doesn't match the comps.
Your job responsibilities would first and foremost be to execute amazing builds. In addition, you will be involved in the planning stages of projects: working with our team to address budget constraints, suggesting technically interesting ways to approach problems, and meeting with clients in startup meetings. You will help produce internal documentation for projects and be a point of contact where projects involve multiple developers.
